Sprngn 4wrd

Spring is FINALLY here!

Regardless of what that thing called a calendar says, my first day of spring is when we spring forward with tha clocks. I mean really...soooooo much is going on, I'm losing an hour and it's not even affectin me cause I'm totally thrilled about the fact that it ain't dark till late!! There's time for baseball and grillin and dirtbike ridin and photo walks and campin and outside music...geez the list just goes on.

I absolutely LOVE this time of year, so here's a crapload of pictures that I shot this weekend to enjoy rather than my ramblin on bout how much I friggin adore this time of year :O)

The new camera has made this spring so much more excitin too...Maybe all these picture takin walks will pay off one day. If not, I've got my own cool pictures to decorate or do whatever with. I would LOVE to get to the point where photography was a full time thing though...I'm in the process of building up my portfolio, so if you want some super great, super creative shots at a super deal,  PLEASE let me know!

Yeah Buddy...Green Belt!

Exactly one year ago today, lil Chris was taking his first ever Tae Kwon Do belt test - going from white to hi-white. This kid has accomplished so much in the past year and I'm so proud of him...Today he was promoted to green belt!

Belt Test ceremonies are really neat...Not only do you get to see all of the students show off what they have learned over the past few weeks/months, but you always get to see some type of demonstration by the instructors. This time, it was the newest group of interns from Korea...They were awesome! My favorite part of the whole shebang though is seeing how much dedication and determination each and every single person involved shows, young or old. What Master Lee has established here is truly a remarkable thing :O)

mmkay, the lighting is waaay off here (still new to playin with all these new camera settings) but notice the floating gun to the right....

still playin with settings...i'm havin as much fun as they are :O)

If it looks like the instructor is really getting hit here, he is. If the expression on all of the other adult faces in the background don't confirm it for you, let my word confirm it for you. The fact that the instructor gracefully accepted my son's knee AND laughed it off because he understood  how serious my kid is about this and really didn't mean to knee him full force IS PRICELESS. Thank you dear sir for being such an understanding, patient instructor :O)

fire! that sound :O)

It's official!
